Hearing aid batteries by size
Disposable hearing aid batteries are zinc-air cells in four standard sizes, each with a colour-coded tab: size 10 (yellow), 312 (brown), 13 (orange) and 675 (blue). The size is set by your hearing aid model, so check the old battery or the battery door before ordering.
Smaller batteries last a shorter time. Battery life also depends on how many hours you wear the hearing aids and how much you stream from your phone.
Getting the most from each battery
Zinc-air batteries start working when the sticker is removed. Wait about a minute after peeling it off before closing the battery door. Store spare batteries at room temperature, not in the fridge, and open the battery door at night so the hearing aid switches off and moisture can escape.
