Hearing Aid Batteries

Which battery size do you need?
Hearing aid batteries come in four standard sizes with colour-coded tabs: 10 (yellow), 312 (brown), 13 (orange) and 675 (blue). Size 10 fits the smallest in-canal devices, 312 and 13 fit most receiver-in-canal and smaller behind-the-ear models, and 675 powers super power behind-the-ear hearing aids.
The size is fixed by your hearing aid, and the colour on the packet matches the tab on the battery, so it is easy to reorder the right one.
How long they last and how to store them
As a rough guide, larger batteries last longer: a size 675 often runs for well over a week, while a size 10 may need changing every few days. Long wearing hours and phone streaming shorten that time.
These are zinc-air batteries: they activate when the sticker comes off, so remove it only when you are ready to use the battery and wait about a minute before closing the battery door. Keep spares at room temperature and away from coins and keys.
